Welcome to Ever Not Quite, a newsletter about technology and humanism. This post grew out of my contribution to a panel on artificial intelligence at St. John’s College, Santa Fe earlier this month. Although my remarks were originally intended for that unique audience, I am posting them here with only minor modification and augmentation.
